: I have a CB Boiler 50600 lbs/hr steam capacity that continues to foul the cut off probes. It appeares that the break down is at the spark plug where it threads into the column. These electrode fittings are a spark plug style and have a light coating of teflon on the water side of the spark plug, after 5-6 months of use this coating is worn off and the porcelin part is rough to the touch The electrodes continue to hold the electrical circuit closed when we do our daily blow down of the column. Has anyone had this premature failure of the probes. Thanks in Advance D@ve
