Would appreciate any and all input on the effect of
steam space on steam quality in packaged firetube
boilers.
Calculating the level swell in pool boiling, i can see
that the steam space for a 650 hp firetube boiler is
only around 50 cu.ft, i.e. a disengagement height of
maybe 10 inches for the shell diameter and length i have.
Look forward to hearing from people in this forum
on their experiences/input on this issue.
