Will a normal hot water boiler have a sufficient payback to cover the cost of converting from steam?
How can you run the water at the same temperature as the steam?
If the heat loss is later lowered what happens? I just run the big boiler at a lower temperature? I guess this adds some savings, but not as much as a smaller boiler from the outset.
: If you have enough radiators for now; you'd provide water at the same temperature as steam so no change in radiators would be needed.
: You wouldn't use a condensing boiler unless you cut the heat loss by insulating.
