Hello..I have single pipe steam radiators in my house... approx, 2700 sq ft. 2 floor Victorian... Im replacing my old oil Steam Burnham and going to replace it with a Gas boiler...I am planning on putting an addition to my house within 2 years.. should I calculate the additional square footage in for my boiler or plan on a separate system.. I have been told by a local heating contractor that it is hard to add on to steam systemm.. I live in NJ.. and am contemplating putting in a Crown/ Peerless.. any thoughts what to do??
