We have a 200hp Saskatoon firetube boiler operating at 110psi . Our filming amine chemical is fed just past the non-return valve and just before the common-header(another 100hp C/B unit). We have a leak(steam/water) on the packing at our pressure reducing valve for two dearators. Would this be from the chemical and WATER as previously described?
I'm new to plant and just wondering why the chemical and water solution would be fed here instead of boiler itself? Or chemical feed by itself.
Thank you for any thoughts or comments.
