just from my experience in boiler I wouldn't do that. The reason is the is a reason the boiler kicks off after the loss of power. If you put a back up power on it there is a chance that a limit on the unit might not work properly and could cause major damage. But I would call up a local boiler rep and have them come out and check out you set up and go from there!! Hope that helps!
