My parents are looking to replace their boiler. When I was quoted $2300 for a boiler, I went looking online and found the Raypak H3 and H4 series boilers for between $1216 and $1958 (from 42k BTU - 180k BTU).
Are these units a bargain? I saw one complaint on Epinions about a Raypak pool heater, but otherwise haven't found anything good or bad. They're a subsidiary of Rheem, and if I'd ever owned a Rheem appliance I'd feel relieved or upset about that...
