My old mclain boiler takes over an hour to heat up to 150'F. The heater is wired so that when the Wall thermostat calls for heat the boiler starts up and the pump circulates the water to the radiators. Well as you can imagine the water is COLD..then heats up gradually over the hour to 150'F Usually at he end of the hour the house is warm and it shuts the whole thing down for the next 3-4 hours till the house cools off, the it starts all over again, the boiler is now cold and etc. etc. etc.
I have no clue how its supposed to work.
