Thank you for your help, I installed the new aquastat last night.....so now I have a new question. The front of the furnace has a thermometer for temperature reading. If I set the new aquastat high limit to 150, the furnace doesn’t shut until the furnace thermometer reads 200. Basically my aquastat is off by 50 degrees. I was thinking it may be because the well immersion well is old and larger than what comes with the newer Honeywell aquastats. I did cover the probe with heat transferring compound (the silver stuff). Long story short...its working but I do not know why it is not working correctly.
