Hi - Could anybody advise ?

We have a c.1990 'Hergom' solid fuel range cooker, which contains a boiler that runs central heating and (via heat exchanger) domestic hot water.

The boiler has just developed a slow leak - and is completely inaccessible without dismantling the whole thing. We don't want to take it out of service right now, with blizzards outside and sub-zero temperatures
QUESTION : Is there any kind of temporary fixing adhesive that it would be safe to put in solution into
the system ? I have seen this sort of thing for car cooling systems -is there any heating system equivalent ? Would the same stuff block up the radiators ??!! If this is a non-starter, any other ideas ?

Many thanks / David (in freezing Scotland...)
