Super Heater & reheater spray increases after air balancing on oil fired burners. Also Nox & Flue gases Temp. at Economizer outlet increased. O2 in flue gase at Eco. outlet is 1.4 to 2.0 %and after Airpreheater / stack it is 4.5%. We are usig HSFO No. 6. In my openion the combustion is improved. But some people says that more spray is lowering boiler effeciency.
Please help in this regard.(1) If spray increases in Super heater & Reheater, is that reduce the effeciency of boiler and harmful? (2)What should be the maximum O2 in flue gases Economizer out let in High sulpher fuel oil No.6?
