I have a twenty-year-old steam boiler, single pipe system, with a manual filling tank. In its normal state, I never see any drips or spills. If I accidentally fill the tank too much, water spills on to the floor from the tank. I expect that there is an overflow valve to prevent overfilling, but could this possibly be a cracked tank?
Also, do you have any recommend plumbers in Baltimore?
Thank you
