: I have questions about flue damper adjustment , our boilers have actuators to open and close dampers but they not hooked up. I have adjusted them to gain the best draft cold , But I think they should modulate depending on load ? Dose any body know the correct opperation ? Thanks

Reply to outlet dampers:

actuator should be controlled by a sequencing draft controller. Overfire draft is critical to efficient combustion and ever dependent on countless variables such as firing rate, fuel, ambient temp., outside air temp., etc., etc., etc.
