Hello folks, I am building a website for the American Veterans Museum, and am currently working on a page about propulsion systems in early US battleships and into WWII. I am searching for pictures or illustrations of the Babcock & Wilcox 3-Drum Express Type boiler that was used on the majority of these. I already have pictures of the Yarrow and Bureau Express boilers used on 2 of the ships, but cannot seem to find any good close-up pictures of the complete B & W boiler. Maybe someone has factory or ship construction photos that show more than just the firebox ? I have tried all the obvious sites, ship's histories, etc... and have emailed Babcock & Wilcox Co. ( to no avail as of yet ). Any pics or leads would be greatly appreciated and would add greatly to this website. Thanks ! Rich SHAEF1944RETURNS@aol.com
