HOT WATER HOT, RADIATORS COLD

Any advise is more than welcome. We have a combi boiler Worcester 350 and it is only a few years old, but it doesn't heat the radiators properly and I do not know why.
I don't think it is the boiler as the flame inside the boiler fires up and heats the water when hot water is needed, and fires up when the central heating is first turned on, but after a few seconds the flame turns off and the central heating just pumps around cold water. I have played with the thermostat, bled the radiators but nothing seems to work and I could do with being pointed in the right direction. Thank you in advance for any suggestions you may have. Russell
