I just received my Rhode Island boiler operators license thinking it was comparable to a 2nd Fireman in Massachusetts. Well it isn't a 2nd firemen is able to operate up to 500 boiler hp under an engineer in charge. A RI boiler is only allowed to operate a boiler up to 100 boiler hp. How can someone make a living with this license.
