: Has anyone had any dealings with MIURA Boiler? I am looking at the EX series 300 hp steam boiler to replace our older Scotch marine units. This is a relatively new product out there. Not much Info available. My Boiler inspector has never seen one. or heard anything as of yet. Any Info good or bad would be appreciated
Gary, I do not have one but have talked to folks that do as I am also looking at new equipment. On the plus side is the high efficency. The negatives for me are, very noisy,hi/low/off not full modulation, water treatment is critical since they hold very small amounts of water. I also have been told that they are difficuly to troubleshoot and that Miura only wants their folks working on them. Keep in mind that this is heresay ,but I have heard it from multiple sources. Look at Aerco. Ken
