: : we are getting fault #28 and prior fault #29.
: : both lock out boiler and are combustion errors,
: : fault #29 is for pilot, I want to start metering out circuits / relays but isnt there a quick way to go strait to that particulare interlock and go from there ?
: : our manual is a little iffy due to we now have the new [ hawk paenl ] which display a different fault code but if your lucky and catch it the fault codes for the 28-and 29 will appear on top of screen [ before ] acknowledging.
: : any advice will be appreciated. [ I know to start checking out the pilot etc---but usualy ise a quicker componet to check , relay etc---
: Tell me more about the model of this panel, the boiler and fireye type. I might be able to help.
A common problem with CB boiler pilot flame failure is a dislodged burner drawer gasket. When gasket is out of place uncontrolled air flows to burner and may blow out pilot. If boiler does get lit off you will see a high O2 reading (over 15%) and a small, sharp, noisy fire. Gasket is easy to replace.
