: Hello. : We're looking to get a few of the above mentioned inspection covers. I've been in contact with the person incharge of parts at Babcock Power(all the research i've done lead to them), but he informed me that they had nothing of the sort. These are round inspection covers found on the bottom of the mud drum. They work by compressing the top part of the cover outwards, using metal only as a seal. They worked great new... but, the boiler is now a few decades (note: 5 or 6, maybe more) old. Does anyone know who carries/carried these, or even better, who might have some stock??
