We have a 2 Cleaver Brooks CBLE firetube boilers (we use them as water heaters) at our facility. We use them both to heat water to run in our resort. Both have exactly the same settings. Number 1 runs like a rock, maintaining desired temperature and pressure, about 195-200 degree water and 40-45 psi. Number 2 however, does a good job at maintaining water temperature, but the pressure is ALL OVER the place, sometimes even popping the 125psi relief valve. We have had our local Cleaver-Brooks rep out 3 times in the last 2 months to take a look at the system, but to not avail. Has anyone experience a similar problem, or have any ideas what Number 2 is doing?
