The engineer in charge has been adding roughly 2-3 gal a week of sludge conditioner to the #6 oil.They havent used #6 in about a year. I just started. When I clean the strainers the oil looks more like #4.They want me to fire the boiler on oil on start up. This ought to be interesting. I probably will have to lower the atomizing air pressure.I see by the MSDS the conditioner has a flashpoint of 150 degrees.What do you guys think?
