Brand new guy here and not completely knowledgeable with hot water boiler systems.
I have an old W-Mc Boiler with a Honeywell relay (L8124L). There are 3 screws on the relay (TV, T, Z). I have a wire coming off of TV and one coming off of Z and these are going to my White Rogers 1311 Zone valves.
On the W-R valve there are slots 1-6. The TV wire hooks up to slot 1 and the Z wire hooks to slot 2. Slots 4-6 hook up to the thermostat in each zone area. There is nothing hooking into the slot marked "3".
When I look at wiring diagrams for new zone valves (I want to replace mine with new Taco) they show wires coming from a transformer. I don't have this.
Am I to take it that my power is coming from the wires coming off the boiler (TV and Z)? If so can anyone tell me how to wire the new Taco valves?
