Boiler alkali boil out vs Hot alkali flushing

Now a days many manufacturers of boilers do not undertake alkali boil out of new boilers instead they suggest acid cleaning followed by hot alkali flushing. Our boiler is of 105 kg/cm2 pressure rating and is of400 MT capacity. I will like to know
1. which is better process and why?
2.If any disadvantage will be there in functioning of boilers if alkali boil out is not carried out
