:Actual official laws? I don't think so, but if you aren't supposed to be in the boiler room, and you are the operator, it is your responsibility to keep the boiler and the equipment safe...which equates to the entire building and everyone in it, in my opinion.
You have chemicals, probably high voltage switchgear and fuels there, not counting the boiler itself. Folks that don't belong should stay out.
