Yes I am sure the grease fitting is covered with paint, the ball on the fitting does not show, the thing has not been painted, the hose on the other end looks like it has not been touched, thanks.: I was looking at a motor, it is on the FD fan. The motor has been in service for nearly 10 years and runs full out pretty much 24/7. The paint is still covering the grease fitting on the fan end of the motor and the shaft end has no signs of ever being grease. You guys that have been around these things longer than I have must know the life expectancy of such motors. We are giving the boiler its first major hydrowash/cleaning. We do a yearly cleaning but not as in depth as the company we hired to clean it. Would this be a good time to change this motor or could it still have alot of years left? thanks
