No,a small 1/2" or 3/4" pipe with a globe valve and checkvalve should be installed on the discharge side of the pump prior to the discharge check.And this line should go back to the tank you are pumping from.This is called a recirculation line and it keeps your pump from dead heading when the level control on the tank tells the level control valve to shut,due to low or no condensate return.Pumps always need to be pumping something esspecially if they are pumping hot water.I would hope you have this already installed on your feed wtr pumps also,that recirc would go back to your D.A tank
