Currently I am operating my DA heater, 9-10 psi @ 240 oF. In the past, I have operated my DA’s @ 220 – 222 psi and what pressure it took to maintain that temperature and a satisfactory D.O. I was wondering, is there any economical advantage to reducing our operating parameters to maintain the DA @ 220 – 222 oF vice the 240oF. Currently our DA will maintain a 1ppb D.O. at both temperatures. Turbine exhaust is our primary heating source but is also used a plant low pressure heating source. I have my own thoughts about this but would like some others.
