: Not being familiar with your system, it is hard to come up with an exact cause. Some places to look include: condensate backing up from improperly installed lines, chemical injection quills in the steam line, desuperheat stations leaking by, steam trap troubles. Some others may be likely suspects dependent upon steam pipe routing and installation.
