My Crown Jamacia has always worked fine...until late this winter (2004). When boiler is cold & fires after an over night the boiler will bang...not the radiators. Sequence: 1) cold then 2)fires & heats up partially heating house then 3) asks for water from auto filler (not every time), which it gets (operates as expected) then 4) fires up and starts to bang at the boiler apparently at the cold water intake. Water level is at 22" from floor, water intake 27" from floor. No major float level flucuations. I'm going to try more drain off of float water incase I have some extra sediment...but not sure if this will help..any advice? thanks!!!!
