: I have an oil fired water heater controlled with an L4103, and plan to replace it with an indirect fired water heater running as a separate zone on a circulator. The boiler is controlled with an L8124. The L4103 has 4 wires coming out of it: a black, a white, and two orange wires. I know the black is the hot wire controlled by the aquastat and the white is the neutral. Could anyone please tell me what these two orange wires are for and where they should go if I want to tie the L4103 in with the L8124. I am hoping to be able to have the water heater to cold start the boiler during summer. Many thanks in advance.
