: Why are you bottom blowing an online boiler in the 1st place? We use ours to accomodate for swell when starting the units up, and for chemistry control we utilize a continuous blowdown tapped at the normal level (surface blowdown for you BT's.) Continuous is just that, its a regulated small (about 1%) continuous flow for chemistry control.
