need help figuring out the following.anticipated thanks for your time/expertice.
Q: in an hrt boiler,how much would a stay rod expand that runs from tube sheet to tube sheet with a temp. change from 70F to 300F assuming free expansion?(coefficient of expansion is .0000065)
PS. E=LxC(T2-T1)x12

Q: given the following saturated pressure conditions,if the steam drum water level were to swell 6.35cm above the NOWL,determine the mass of water that moved within the steam drum.(operating pressure 31,026mm hg,steam drum is 9.754m long,1.22m in diameter)
