I WORK IN A THERMAL POWER PLANT ,SOME DAYS AGO WHEN OUR BOILERS WERE IN NORMAL OPERATION(WE HAVE TWO BOILERS ONE OF 60 TON/HR STEAM GENERATION CAPACITY AND OTHERR OF 40T/HR) THE GAS PRESSURE BEGAIN TO DROP AND IT BECAME 0.5 BAR FROM 2.0 BAR. AS A RESULT OUR BOILERS BURNERS WENT OUT OF FIRING WHICH RESULTED IN POWER HOUSE SHUT DOWN. WHEN WE INVESTIGATED THE REASON , WE LEARNED THAT THERE WAS OIL IN OUR MAIN GAS PIPE LINE. I WAS VERY SURPRISE WITH THIS SITUATION. I HAVE NOT SEEN OIL IN THE MAIN GAS PIPE LINE BEFORE THIS TIME.
CAN ANY BODY EXPLAIN THAT FROM WHERE THIS OIL HAS COME IN THE MAIN GAS PIPE LINE? AND WE SHOULD TAKE WHAT MEASUREMENTS?
THANKS AND REGTARDS FOR SUGGESTIOPNS.....
