: I just bought a home that is in desparate need of a new furnace (FHW). I have been given a quote for a Buderus G115/28 Cast Iron w/ Indirect 40 Gal Hot water Heater. With a burner that's name I was unfamiliar with.

: In my last house I had to install a new system and it was a Weil McLane / Beckett burner sytstem that I was very happy with.

: I am being told that the Bedurus is far more efficient and is a Cadillac compared to the Chevy(Weil-McLane). The price is a little highr than I had anticipated, but within the amount I am willing to pay.

: Can anyone tell me if this is a good system. Is it "much" better than the WM system?

: Thanks!

Chris,
Which boiler did you select? I am in the exact same situation and leaning towards the Bedurus. Did also install the computer? You're input will help.
