Of course it does. Why would you want to run like this? Boilers are not designed to run past their maximum continuous steaming rate to the point of level and carryover problems for any length of time - you could cause overheating and failure due to improper circulation ratios, departure from nucleate boiling, low drum level and increased thermal stresses.
