Just a reminder that "operating pressures" as shown on the gauge in your plants is not the same as "design pressure" as defined in the various codes. When ASME says "design pressure", they mean the safety/relief valve setting in PSIG. They don't care what your operating pressure is. If you're running a boiler with 300 PSIG safety valves at 10 PSIG, it's still a 300# boiler and piping system, as far as ASME is concerned.
