: APH Hopper (Ash) is getting filled with fly ash even though the ash handling system is running smoothly. Why does it may happen?
: Thanks in advance.

==================================================
One of the reasons for accumulation of ash in APH may be the hopper slope. And also during start up, due to low furnace temperature and less flue gas velocities, un burnt ash may get accumulatrd in APH hopper. Also during start up, till you get sufficient furnace temperature it is better to keep furnace pressure around -1/-2 mmWC.
The problem of ash accumulation can be solved by installing pneumatic vibrators on the hoppers.
