Thank you by your answer. I see the pits going into the boiler, they are 2 mm diameter and less than 1 mm in depth. The quantity is high close to the burner and null in the other end, mostly in the valleys of the corrrugated furnace.
I check the water analysis , they are fine, oxygen content is controlled by sulphite and the only high value is chloride, who could works as a promoter.
My initial guess is that some kind of metallurgycal problem, made the 516 plate more easy to corrode at this place.
