Valves that fail shut are usually there as a safety precaution...Consider that before you change them out...Start with the original plant drawings and see what they specify in that reguard.
Best solution is to get rid of the windows based computer or if not a winduhs computer, fix the computer problem. Make sure the operator hasn't installed any games on it(I see it every day). Make sure the power supply is stable and properly filtered. Contact the software maker and scream loudly.
In short, fix the problem...Which is that the computer crashes.
