Harold is right...It will take a little time to get a good understanding of heating boilers and the rules and regs set forth by the ASME and National Board and the jurisdictional authorities as well. It is not rocket science, but a good understanding of heating system types, boiler types, required safety controls etc is very important. Where are you located? If you are in the northeast I might be able to direct you to some schools.
