We have an OFA air fan that we are constantly having bearing failures on. Motor rpm 1785 Fan rpm 2080
The bearing people tell us that we are running the greased bearing over the rated rpm . They also tell us that the bearing temperature is above normal , EXCEEDS 200 F We have discussed reducing the fan rpm ( but how much without damage to boiler ) We have replaced heat shields around shaft and shaft has heat sink fins attached . We also insulated under the (( DOG HOUSE ))
the mounting bracket for motor and fan bearings . We have also discussed Variable Frequency Drive .
PLEASE HELP

THANKS
