How is a Stationary Measured?
In plant operations there is four or five Classes of Stationary Engineers. I have heard of a study that compared a 3rd class Stationary Engineers knowledge and responsibility level to that of a journeyman plumber or electrician but I don’t have the document or the source. In your location is a Stationary Engineer considered a journeyman; if so at what class is a stationary engineer a journeyman? How does each class compare to other occupations? Do you know of a study and where can I get the report?
