CI sectional boilers are typically small heating boilers. You should be getting pretty much all of the condensate back that goes out as steam. When that's the case, water treatment really shouldn't be required. I guess an exception would be if someone had one installed feeding a humidifier or some other application where the steam was on a one way trip.

If you've got so much make up that you need to consider water treatment, you have larger mechanical problems that need to be addressed, like leaking condensate lines.
