Tappi puts out several good books. One is called KRAFT RECOVERY BOILERS and another one is called CHEMICAL RECOVERY IN THE ALKALINE PULPING PROCESS. Obviously the first one deals solely with Kraft recovery boilers while the other book includes sections on black liquor evaporation, causticizing and other pulp mill topics. If you work in a pulp & paper mill someone has these books.
There is also Babcock & Wilcox's STEAM and Combustion Engineering puts out a book. These books have sections on recovery boilers but not covered to the depth that the first book mentioned does.
