The key to success is to remove the play in the linkages on the burner. This is where the real savings can be made. Many studies and applications have demonstated that use of independent servo's to position fuel and air precisely throughout the load range can make a real difference in emissions and fuel savings. Couple this with O2 Trim and you can also take out the minor changes not possible with positioning accuracy alone (barometric, fuel fluctuations etc.). There are many systems out there. Fireye, Autoflame, Honeywell, Landis and Gyr etc. The Fireye Nexus system has an interface which would allow your existing Rosemount probes to be used for the O2 measurement and Trim.
