Noise Minimization during Steam Blowing

am looking for a way to minimize the noise generated during steam blow of piping prior to commissioning.
Can anyone provide guidelines on how to design a temporary silencer or suggest methods that can be used to reduce the noise?
As this is temporary operation, I am trying to avoid purchasing a new Silencer.
