Rick, if you have a shut-off valve(s) on the outlet side of the economizer, between the economizer and the boiler you must also add a safety/relief valve as per PG-67.2.6 of the ASME Section 1 Code (this is to protect the economizer from exploding in the event someone secures a valve on the outlet side)
