: I have a deaerator application ( a normal spray type deaerator) in which the non-condensible gas vent spews slugs of water from time to time, seemingly when admitting proportionally more cold make-up water. The deaerator operating pressure is 6-7 psig, the vent is a 1" gate valve with a 5/32-inch hole drilled in the gate, and the valve is shut, allowing a plume of 18-24" of vapour. Ideas, please?
