Well if youve not guessed that I work at a hospital then you may not be able to help me, but in the hopes there is amoung you someone here goes. Of three autoclaves we operate it seems that spuriously a stain(? we suspect maybe burn marks) appear on the padding of two of the units (not all)they use to wrap the instruments. Of course why I tell you this is that everyone but myself,my manager, & our chem. rep believe that it is carryover from the boilers(dirty steam). Altough chem is almost always in spec & we sent out a sample of the padding for analysis I would appreciate any input that to this situation that may shed some light. Thanks, covering my own. BillD.
