I also own a home built around the same time but has a two pipe hot water system, still with those large cast radiators. We redid a bathroom and had to remove the radiator. Although I am a steam man, it was not economical to put in a new radiator or baseboard in this area....
We put a small wall mounted electric fan blown heater in this room with its own thermostat. Mostly we keep it off or set to low unless we are using the room. With the small room size, the electric heater heats it up fast.
